The location of the hotel was great, with easy access to the city and beautiful views from the hilltop. The staff was friendly and quick to assist with any requests. The onsite parking garage was convenient for those traveling with a car, and the European breakfast was delicious.
The lighting throughout the hotel was too bright and the atmosphere felt a bit sterile. The spa and pool area could have been cleaner, with limited space for changing.

The hotel is conveniently located, just a short drive from the Old Town which was as lively as we needed. Perched on the hill, we were treated to breathtaking views of the city. The room was clean and comfortable, with a well-maintained bathroom. The staff, especially Francois, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, providing valuable information and assistance. The breakfast had a variety of options to suit different tastes. We were impressed by the chic bar and the prompt room service.
It would have been better if the swimming pool towels were provided in the changing area.

The hotel's cleanliness and modernity certainly impressed me during my recent stay. It was also nice to have a peaceful and serene environment to retreat to after a long day of sightseeing. The breathtaking views of the city were a wonderful addition to the experience.
The location left a lot to be desired. While the hotel's remote setting did provide some quiet and relaxation, it was quite a hike to get anywhere in the city and required either a lot of walking or an expense on Uber rides.

This hotel exceeded my expectations with its luxurious and exclusive amenities. The service was impeccable and the Spa & wellness centre offered a wide range of treatments. The indoor swimming pool and sauna were a great way to relax after exploring the nearby area. The beauty treatment left me feeling rejuvenated. The continental breakfast served in the privacy of my own room was a fantastic way to start the day. The bar/lounge area had a great atmosphere and the location was convenient for exploring the city.
The only minor issue was the limited options for in-room dining. However, the hotel made up for it by providing excellent recommendations for nearby restaurants.

The staff at Villa Maia were outstanding! They were so helpful and friendly, making our stay very enjoyable. The concierge team went above and beyond to assist us with planning our sightseeing and arranging taxis. The housekeeping team was also top-notch, always making sure our room was comfortable and bringing in extra bedding when needed. The receptionists were fantastic in handling any requests we had. Additionally, the bar team and room service were excellent, providing delicious drinks and meals. As vegetarians, we were delighted to find a great selection of vegetarian and vegan options available. The nearby restaurant, Tetedoie, is a must-visit for anyone in Lyon, with some of the best vegetarian options in the city. The mini bar snacks were included in the room rate, which was a nice touch. our stay at Villa Maia was fantastic, and we would definitely choose to stay there again.
Our stay at Villa Maia felt like a home away from home, and we honestly can't think of any reason to complain. From the excellent staff to the modern and authentic interior, everything exceeded our expectations.
